The Laundry Attendant is to complete daily production workload in a timely manner, consistently providing quality standards in all areas of laundry operations.

Duties:

• Work in soil-sorting area of Laundry, sorting linens from conveyer to laundry carts
• Work in washroom area, operating all washers and dryers according to procedures regarding established loading weights, soil classification formulas and drying times
• Work in finishing area, processing linens, toweling and uniforms with quality results
• Must understand and adhere to all safety procedures
• Follow directions and interact with others in a positive manner

Qualifications:

• Ability to count items numerically
• Lift weights over 40 pounds consistently
• Speak some English
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time; able to bend, stretch reach and stoop on a continual basis
• Good vision and hearing capabilities to ensure safety while working around equipment
